Democrats still unsatisfied over their own request for FBI investigation of Kavanaugh

This past Friday the White House ordered a review of the ludicrous allegations, that are still lacking corroborating evidence, made by Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. This has stirred up a lot of questions from the Democrats about the White Houses’ involvement in an investigation that they were so adamant about making. This accusation of the White House’ “micromanaging” the FBI, by limiting “scope” and “time” is inaccurate as there is a long enough time span for an investigation, which should make the lefties beyond satisfied. Democrats are now only concerned because the FBI investigation might prove that Kavanagh may be a suitable candidate for this position, and with that will receive the position. These accusations from these women, that still lack complete legitimacy, are from high school and college. What happens in school shouldn’t follow a man throughout his life; boys make decisions they wouldn’t later in life as men, so why should their childhood actions ruin their right to be in a position they deserve.

InfoWars latest article released on Monday October 1st, discussing the very prominent, widely discussed topic regarding Brett Kavanaugh’s sexual misconduct allegations, has many components of misleading or inaccurate information. The article discussed the investigation that the FBI is undertaking in regards to this case. To give context, on this matter, it was U.S Senator Jeff Flake, a moderate Republican who approved Justice Kavanaugh’s nomination in the Senate judiciary committee and sends the matter to the full Senate. However, after discussions with Democratic Senator Chris Coons, he decided he would only cast this vote upon a FBI probe lasting up to seven days of the allegations.

The article written in InfoWars has various false or misleading claims including the statement about the limited scope and time. This is inaccurate as Trump himself said that the “supplemental investigation” is to be “limited in scope and completed in less than one week”. Trump later tweeted “Just started, tonight, our 7th FBI investigation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh. He will someday be recognized as a truly great Justice of the United States Supreme Court!” This show Trumps clear bias on the matter, and as the President, he has the power to be heavily involved in the investigation, which could deeply skew the results of said investigation. InfoWars line about Democrats only being concerned that Kavanagh being a suitable candidate, is also inaccurate in a sense, because the results of the FBI investigation shouldn’t be what decides whether or not he gets the position. The fact that he has this many allegations against him, and has such a bad reputation should be reason enough for him to not receive such a reputable and honorable position, regardless of what the FBI investigation says. Why does Kavanaugh still have a chance at this position? There are so many people with equal qualifications, who don’t have such horrible reputations and such strong claims against them? Isn’t the word of three women enough to not give this man one of the most powerful positions in the country?

InfoWars has written this article with false statements from a very biased, skewed perspective, as it is a very right wing oriented site. The article angles the situation to favor Kavanaugh, as he is a Republican politician. It was written with the intent of making people believe that this FBI investigation is redundant and the statements of these women who came forward about the allegations are false.
